Paste the whole thing — a message, a page, a recipe someone sent you. Headings like "Ingredients" and "Method" are used when they are there; otherwise the lines that open with a quantity are read as ingredients and the rest as the method.

These came over from the family workbook as a title only. Filling one in replaces the placeholder everywhere.
Backup
Your recipes, favourites, plan and shopping list live in this browser and nowhere else. Clearing site data, or a new phone, takes them with it. Export a file and keep it somewhere real.
Restoring merges into what is already here. It never overwrites or deletes a recipe you have written: if the file holds a different version of one, both are kept.
Seed recipes stay in the app's own file; your edits are stored separately and layer on top, so an app update can never overwrite them.
